Jobs pool continues to grow
The number of jobs in the Dutch economy grew by 108,000 in the final quarter of 2008, compared with the same period in 2007, the national statistics office CBS said on Thursday.
Wages rose on average 2.1% in the final quarter, below the 3.6% average increase agreed in formal pay and conditions deals and below the rise in the previous quarters, the CBS said.
