ING returned bonuses kept secret
Financial services group ING will not publish any information about how many senior managers are prepared to hand back their 2008 bonuses, a spokesman said on Tuesday.
On Monday, CEO Jan Hommen made a ‘moral appeal’ to senior staff to hand back the money.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the ING works council said the 200 managers in the Netherlands feel put out by Hommen’s appeal which contravenes existing agreements.
