Dutch coach Rutten sacked by Schalke
German football club Schalke 04 has sacked its Dutch coach Fred Rutten, clearing the way for his possible return to PSV Eindhoven.
Schalke was a favourite to the take the Dutch league title but is currently in 8th place. Rutten had already said he would be leaving at the end of the season.
Website Voetbal International said earlier this week that PSV expect to land the former Twente coach within two weeks.
