Dutch candidate misses top UNDP job

Former Labour party leader and social affairs minister Ad Melkert has missed out on the top job at the United Nation’s Development Programme, according to media reports.


Melkert is currently number two at the UNDP. The job is set to go to former New Zealand prime minister Helen Clark, local newspaper websites say.
