Dutch baseball team in WBC second round
The Dutch national baseball team is through to the second round of the World Baseball Classic in Puerto Rico after beating the powerful Dominican Republic for the second time.
Tuesday night’s 2-1 victory stunned the baseball world because the Dutch team is made up of unknowns and the Dominican Republic has a number of major league players, reports news agency AP.
Baseball is known as honkbal in the Netherlands.
