Credit crisis costs pension funds €110bn

Holland’s pension funds lost a combined €110bn on their investments last year, according to new figures from the Dutch central bank.


Losses on investments and lower interest rates mean more than 300 pension funds now have to submit a plan on how they plan to bolster their assets to recommended minimums, the central bank said.
