Capgemini will only replace key Dutch staff

Computer services company Capgemini is to cut jobs in the Netherlands in order to prepare for the expected downturn in contracts, board member Henk Broeders said in an interview with the Financieele Dagblad.

‘By every departure, we ask ourselves three or four times if we need to replace that person,’ the paper quoted Broeders as saying. ‘Only key staff are being replaced.’
Capgemini employs some 7,000 people in the Netherlands.
