Air France-KLM bids for Czech airline stake
Air France-KLM is submitting a non-binding bid for a stake in Czech airlines, the company said on Monday.
The Czech finance minister has invited bids for a minority stake in the airline.
Czech Airlines has been a member of the SkyTeam alliance alongside KLM-Air France since 2001.
‘Its network is highly complementary to that of Air France-KLM. Among other things, it would enable the group to strengthen its position in Central and Eastern Europe,’ the French-Dutch airline group said in a statement.
