Plastic surgeons want better regulation

Plastic surgeons and private health clinics want the government to introduce new rules for their sector, the Volkskrant reports on Monday.


At the moment, anyone can set up a private health clinic in the Netherlands for treatment which is not covered by the basic health insurance package, the paper says.
There are no licensing requirements and health inspectors only intervene when serious complaints have been made.
