Physiotherapists angry at advert ‘bribe’
The physiotherapists’ association KNGF is threatening legal action against health insurance company Agis which plans to pay physiotherapists who advertise its services a higher fee, the Telegraaf reports.
Agis says that physiotherapists who put Agis promotional literature in their practices will get an extra €2.50 per session. The standard fee is €27.50.
Agis has also offered to pay pharmacists extra fees if they give patients additional information about their medical treatment.
