Inflation stable but above EU average
Inflation remained stable at 1.9% in the Netherlands in January, the national statistics office CBS said on Thursday.
But in the eurozone as a whole, inflation fell sharply to 1.1%, due to cheaper energy prices. Oil price reductions take longer to filter through into the Dutch economy, the CBS said.
