Dutch conductor wins Grammy
Dutch composer Bernard Haitink has won the best orchestral performance Grammy for Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 4 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Haitink (79), who has been principal conductor with the Chicago orchestra since 2006, was the only Dutch winner among the 110 awards.
