Wages rose 3.3% last year
Dutch wages rose faster than inflation at an average of 3.3% last year, the national statistics office CBS said on Monday. Inflation rose 2.5%.
Over the past ten years, pay rises have been on average 0.4 of a percentage point above inflation but last year it was twice as much, the CBS said. The lowest increase was booked by hotel and catering staff at 2.3%.
