Sophie, Daan most popular names
Sophie has overtaken Sanne as the most popular Dutch girl’s name, news agency ANP reports on Monday.
Next on the list are Julia, Lieke and Emma. For boys Daan and Tim have overtaken Sem, with Jayden and Thomas making up the top 5.
The annual list is compiled by the social insurance bank SVB which pays child benefit to all parents and can so track names.
