Security increased at Russian interests
Security at Russian interests in the Netherlands was stepped up at the weekend but the counter-terrorism office declined to say why, news agency Novum reports.
The Russian embassy in The Hague, the ambassador’s residence, the office of airline Aeroflot and office of the Russian trade mission to the Netherlands were all subjected to tighter controls.
Newspaper Trouw said that the counter terrorism unit had received information from ‘partners’ and the police were asked to keep an eye on the buildings and take other measures.
