A number of paedophiles at a psychiatric prison in Groningen were found with cd-r discs containing child porn during an inspection, reports Wednesday’s Telegraaf. Soft drugs were also found.

The inspection was carried out following rumours that guns had been smuggled in. No real guns were found but the search turned up a number of toy weapons, the paper said.
The psychiatric prison has now taken steps to stop the smuggling, says the Telegraaf. The patients caught with child porn will be prosecuted and visitors found with contraband will be banned from the premises.
‘Finding patients with child porn tells you something about how their treatment is going,’ a spokesman told the paper.
