The new timetable introduced by Dutch Railways (NS) in December 2008 is leading to more delays in the central urban belt stretching from Amsterdam to Utrecht and Rotterdam, reports Tuesday’s Nederlands Dagblad.
A spokesman told the paper that the NS will be adjusting train departure times to create more space on the network. He added that the number of trains would not change.
