Minister backs free paper for teens
Culture and media minister Ronald Plasterk has asked a government committee to investigate the idea of giving all 18-year-olds a free newspaper subscription.
A French plan to do just this is a ‘charming’ initiative, Trouw newspaper reports the minister as saying.
