Household assets shrink
The value of shares, bonds and pension savings held by Dutch households plunged by €152bn over the first nine months of last year, compared with the end of 2007, says national statistics office CBS.
The Dutch have lost €43bn on their shares, €94m on the value of their pensions and life insurance policies and €3bn on their bonds, the CBS said.
