Dutch buy over one million pairs of skates
Over one million pairs of skates costing a total of €80m have been bought over the past few weeks, according to calculations by banking group ING, reports Trouw.
Three out of 10 people polled by ING said they have been skating over the past week and one in three of them had bought new skates.
The average price of a new pair of skates is €50, ING said.
