Delta Lloyd, ABN Amro stay together

Delta Lloyd has decided not to sell its 51% interest in its insurance joint venture with ABN Amro, reports news agency AFN on Thursday.

The two companies will continue their working relationship as the ‘most sustainable option available’, according to a statement.
The Dutch state, which nationalised ABN Amro in October 2008, has approved the move.
Delta Lloyd is currently in talks with the Dutch government to take over parts of the nationalised Fortis.
