Alkmaar nurses lose lottery cash
Staff in the neurology department at Alkmaar’s medical centre who won €25,000 on a lottery ticket given to them by a grateful patient cannot have the money, Trouw reports on Thursday.
The paper says the nurses’ charter forbids them from taking cash from patients, even if it comes from a lottery ticket.
