Half of Dutch women do not look forward to Christmas, according to a poll of 1,000 readers by the magazine Libelle.


Shopping in busy stores and carting loads of groceries spoils the pleasure of Christmas for 12%. And all that extra cooking is the final straw for 6%.
Sadness makes 16% wish the festive season would pass as quickly as possible.
