Veldhuis wins sixth 50 metre title
Swimmer Marleen Veldhuis took her sixth European 50 metre title freestyle at the European short course championships in Croatia this weekend, news agency ANP reports.
It was Veldhuis’s fourth gold at the event. She also took the 100 metres freestyle and was part of the winning team in two relay events.
