Two major offshore wind farms scheduled
The cabinet is backing the construction of two new major wind farms off the Dutch coast, RTL News said on Thursday, quoting secret documents.
One wind farm of 1,100 square km – about the size of the province of Utrecht – is to be built off the Noord Holland coast. The other, with 300 square km, is scheduled for Zeeland.
The plan will be discussed in today’s cabinet meeting, the broadcaster said.
