Rabobank’s image rides high
Rabobank, the non-listed cooperative banking group, is the big winner now people are nervous about their savings, reports Friday’s AD.
According to research by Blauw Research quoted in the paper, the Rabobank scores highest among Dutch banks for trustworthiness, expertise, reputation and sympathy.
It achieved a score of 7.6. Second was the Postbank, now part of ING and about to disappear, with 7.5. ABN Amro scored 6.9, SNS Bank 6.7 and ING 6.6. In last place was the recently nationalised Fortis with 5.9.
