Increase defence budget: foreign minister
Foreign affairs minister Maxime Verhagen has again called for an increase in defence spending, news agency ANP reports on Tuesday.
Verhagen says more money is needed to enable the armed forces to achieve the government’s ambitions in terms of peace-keeping missions and disaster relief.
