Emergency supplies package not popular
Only 15,000 people have so far bought the government-backed package of emergency supplies and equipment, despite heavy tv advertising, NOS tv reports.
The government had hoped that 200,000 of the packages, which include torches, a radio tuned in to the ‘disaster frequency’ and a waterproof poncho per family member would have been sold by now, NOS says.
