Dutch children are worse at arithmetic
Dutch school children have fallen from fourth to ninth place in an international ranking of arithmetic skills, the Volkskrant reports on Wednesday.
The TIMSS research is based on the 2007 performance of 4,300 pupils at 141 primary schools. The survey was last carried out in 2003.
