Hunters are taking up positions at sunset along the A28 near Nunspeet to shoot dead any wild boar approaching the motorway, says Monday’s Algemeen Dagblad.

The action follows several accidents where cars hit boar on the road.
The hunt near the Gelderland town follows the ongoing cull of thousands of boar on the Veluwe heathland.
