Temp staffing market down another 6%

The temporary employment market fell another 6% in October compared to the same year-earlier period, reports the association for staffing agencies ABU. The decrease for September of this year was also 6%.


The number of hours worked by temp staff was down 9% in the four weeks to November 2 with the medical sector hardest hit (11%), reports ABU which represents around two-third’s of the country’s temporary staffing market.
