Stand-up meetings would cut costs

One-third of the cost of meetings could be saved if people attending them had to stand up, according to a survey by the scientific research institution TNO published on Friday.


The study said that meetings currently cost the country €30bn a year. But if people stand around a table rather than sitting, meetings are shorter and would cut costs by 33%, said the TNO.
