Smoking fines for seven Den Bosch bars
Food safety inspectors have fined seven cafe owners in Den Bosch for allowing smoking on their premises in defiance of the smoking ban.
A majority of the city’s bars and cafes voted at the weekend to ignore the ban and put ashtrays back on their tables.
Yesterday health minister Ab Klink said that cafes which continue to defy the ban could be temporarily closed down.
