Shell signs Abu Dhabi gas deal
Royal Dutch Shell has signed an interim agreement with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Co which would the parties to work together to explore for deep gas reserves off the coast of the Gulf state, reports the Financieele Dagblad on Tuesday.
The announcement was made during a conference in Abu Dhabi. Malcolm Brinded, Shell’s director of exploration and production, said he hopes that a definitive deal will be signed quickly.
