PSV loses again in Champions League
Football club PSV Eindhoven lost 2-1 to Athletico Madrid in its fourth Champions League group match on Wednesday and is now out of the competition.
The match was played in front of an empty stadium, as ordered by the European football association Uefa because of crowd disturbances linked to racist behavior during Atletico’s 2-1 victory against Olympique Marseille on October 1.
There is a chance that PSV could still qualify for the Uefa Cup if it manages to overtake Marseille which is number three in the group.
