More time for pension funds’ plans
The Dutch central bank has given pension funds until April 1 to come up with plans to restore their funding ratios following the downturn in share prices.
The delay follows the bank’s own advice to pension funds in October not to take hasty decisions. Many funds went under the 105% coverage ratio last month, the bank said.
