More childcare places, longer waiting lists
The number of places at crèches and after-school clubs increased by 48,000 to 467,000 in the first six months of 2008, reports news agency ANP on Thursday.
Nevertheless, waiting lists for day care grew by 4,500. But requests for places at after-school clubs fell by 500 in the same period.
