Mobile phone market growth to slow
The Dutch mobile telephone market saw a drop in turnover of €1.61bn or 0.5% in the third quarter of 2008 compared with the year-earlier period, reports research agency Telecompaper.
Much of the loss was accounted for by a lower turnover at T-Mobile, the country’s second largest server.
Telecompaper has lowered its turnover growth forecast for the whole of 2008 from 3% to 0.5%. The market grew 4.9% in 2007.
