Holland beats Sweden in football friendly

The Dutch football team beat Sweden 3-1 in a friendly match on Thursday night. Robin van Persie scored twice for Holland in a game that was dominated by the Netherlands.

‘It was a useful match against opponents who play with two lines of four players close to each other, which demanded concentration and pace from my team,’ Oranje coach Bert van Marwijk was reported as saying by Reuters.
‘They waited for our mistakes and if you give away one real chance and create several you have done well,’ he said.
The Dutch campaign to qualify for the next World Cup starts again on March 28 with a home match against Scotland.
