Rotterdam’s Feyenoord beat amateur club HHC Hardenberg 1-5 on Thursday night to make it through to the last 16 of the Dutch Football Cup.

Luis Pedro, the 18-year-old top scorer in the club’s A youth team, made his debut for Feyenoord with two goals. Roy Makaay also scored twice.
The next round of the competition takes place on 21, 22 and 23 January. Two amateur sides are through to the last 16 – Lieden and Achilles ’29.
