Dutchman freed from Mumbai hotel

A Dutchman was freed from his room at the Trident-Oberoi Hotel in Mumbai by Indian commandos on Friday morning, 30 hours after terrorists attacked the building, the foreign ministry told ANP news agency.

The man is in good health and is being looked after by the Dutch consulate in Mumbai, the ministry said.
However the ministry has not yet traced a second Dutch person believed to have been badly injured in an attack on a train station, one of several locations in the Indian city targeted by the terrorists on Wednesday evening, the AD reports.
Some 80 Dutch expats live in Mumbai. Most of them have been contacted and are safe, the AD says.
