Air France-KLM still wants Austrian Airlines
Air France-KLM is still in the race to buy 42% of Austrian Airlines, according to company sources quoted in the Austrian newspaper Kurier on Tuesday.
The French-Dutch airline pulled out of negotiations in October when the deadline for bids was reached. That deadline has now been extended to the end of this year.
According to Kurier, Air France-KLM has complained to the Austrian authorities that it has not been given a look at documents shown to competitor bidder Lufthansa.
The German Lufthansa and the Russian airline S7 are both bidding for Austrian Airlines.
