Zwartboek voted best Dutch film
Paul Verhoeven’s World War II film Zwartboek (2006) has been voted the best Dutch film of all time in a Dutch film festival poll.
Eddy Terstall’s modern drama Simon (2004) was second.
Verhoeven’s Soldaat van Oranje (1977) and Turks Fruit (1973), which both starred Rutger Hauer were in third and fifth place.
