Underlying sales growth (which excludes the effect of acquisitions, divestments and fluctuations in exchange rates) rose by 8.3% in the third quarter due mainly to higher sales prices.
Based on current exchange rates net profit rose 60% to €1.7 bn in the same period, propelled by extraordinary gains on asset sales.
