Reward for unsolved murder doubled
The reward for the tip that leads to solving the murder of 16-year-old Marianne Vaatstra in 1999 been doubled to €50,000, reports ANP news service on Monday.
Vaatstra was murdered in Friesland and her body dumped in a field. Despite an extensive police investigation, including DNA checks on hundreds of men, her killer has never been found.
The higher reward is on offer until the end of the year.
