PSV win first Champions League match

PSV Eindhoven notched up their first victory in football’s European Champions League this season, beating the French club Olympique Marseille 2-0 at home yesterday.


Striker Danny Koevermans scored twice with headers late in the game to secure the victory.
PSV are now third in their group with three points. Ahead of them are Liverpool and Atletico Madrid each with seven points. The next game in the group phase of the Champions League is in two weeks.
