Printer maker Océ hit by economic turmoil
Printer maker Océ booked an operating loss of €11.2m in the third 2008 quarter. In a statement on Wednesday, the company said the ‘current turmoil in the world economy’ and one-off restructuring costs of €28m had pressured results.
Océ booked a 7% fall in net turnover in the third quarter to just over €700m.
According to the Financieele Dagblad the results were better than analysts had expected.
The company declined to give a full-year forecast because of the uncertain economic situation.
