Prince to promote hand washing
Crown prince Willem-Alexander is to promote personal hygiene by encouraging children in South Africa to wash their hands after using the toilet and before eating, reports website Nu.nl.
As chairman of the UN advisory board for water and sanitation, the prince is in Pretoria to celebrate Global Hand-Washing Day which has been organised by the UN, the World Bank and a number of businesses including Anglo-Dutch soap-maker Unilever.
