Norovirus claims more than 100 victims
An outbreak of the norovirus in a psychiatric hospital in the south of the country has so far infected 109 patients and staff, report various newspapers.
Four elderly patients have died from complications arising from the virus, which causes gastroenteritus but is in itself not fatal. One person remains in intensive care with the virus.
The virus is believed to have been picked up during a pilgrimage to Lourdes in September.
