Financial services group ING was hard hit on the Amsterdam stock exchange on Friday, closing down 11% at €7.20.

The AEX blue chip index ended down at 245.92 a loss of 4.6%. Earlier in the day, the index had gone as low as 232 points.
Insurance group Aegon and Fortis were also down.
Analysts said it was hard to determine why the AEX had taken such a knock, which was in line with events elsewhere in Europe.
Food group Ahold which published third quarter earnings on Friday, led the gainers. It was up over 13%.
